Job Description

We are seeking an

experienced and immediately available Project Manager

to lead critical installation projects at a specialist manufacturing site. These projects, while not production-related, fall under CDM regulations, requiring expert management to ensure safety, compliance, and timely delivery. Duration:

4-month fixed-term contract (potential for extension) Role Overview As a Project Manager, you will oversee multiple installations, coordinating engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals. You’ll ensure full compliance with CDM regulations, manage resources effectively, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Plan and execute installation projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget. Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, contractors, and site staff. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Compliance & CDM Regulations: Ensure all projects meet CDM standards, including risk assessments and RAMS. Oversee health and safety compliance, including working-at-height and lifting operations. Technical Oversight: Review and approve installation procedures, aligning with best practices. Address technical challenges in collaboration with engineering teams. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Host regular site meetings and provide clear progress updates. Resource Management: Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials effectively. Monitor and control project costs. Problem Solving: Address on-site challenges promptly to maintain project momentum. Experience required: Proven experience managing installation projects in manufacturing or CDM-regulated environments. Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills. In-depth understanding of CDM regulations and safety-critical activities. Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) and safety (NEBOSH/IOSH) are desirable. Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification is a bonus.
