Certain Advantage is hiring for a Manufacturing Project Manager, for a technically advanced manufacturer, based in North East Hampshire.

This role is on a permanent basis and is predominantly based at the company's manufacturing facility.

Are you a Project Manager, with a manufacturing background, looking to join a renowned leader in the development of cutting-edge sensor technology?

You will be in a pivotal role, involved in project-managing the design and development of bespoke underwater commercial products and defence projects.

The Company

We're working with an innovative company, which develops and manufactures sensor technology and monitoring solutions, for surveying the ocean and other aquatic systems. They have been established for over 50 years, supplying into Environmental, Maritime & Marine and Defence Markets.

Established for over 60 years, the business is globally renowned for environmental / ocean technology solutions. After recently moving to start of the art facilities, the business is looking to continue its sustained growth.

The Role:

This role would suit someone with a strong background in Project Management for manufacturing.

You'll be a key member of the Engineering team, operating at the intersection of design / development, manufacturing, operations and client liaison.

Day to day you will:

Deliver custom projects within budget, and to specification, ensuring proper planning, resourcing and execution. Assist with NRE estimations, monitor costs, and raise deviations with SLT. Ensure comprehensive project specifications and designs are produced that identify and document functional requirements and performance characteristics of the system. Develop test procedures to validate the integrated hardware/firmware/software elements and deliverable configured systems with documented results. Prepare and control Project documentation to individual customer requirements. Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders / clients.

The Individual

We're looking for people who can show: Project Management experience, from a Manufacturing background. Knowledge of the Product Development process / lifecycle. Degree level or equivalent in Engineering or similar discipline. Ideally a relevant qualification, such as APM, PMQ, PRINCE2 or similar.
