Project Manager

to join our PM team in our Bristol city centre office. The role will manage and coordinate the development of projects from initiation to closure in the UK Nuclear New Build market. The role holder will ensure projects meet standards and client specifications and will achieve project goals within the time and budget allotted. The role will be based from our office in

Bristol city centre

and involve travel to other sites including our fully digital manufacturing site at Broughton, N Wales and NNB Hinkley Point C, together with supplier visits. Applicants will be degree qualified or have demonstrable experience in a similar role, ideally in the Nuclear industry or similar industry with manufacturing sector experience. To be successful you must be an excellent communicator, negotiator and customer relationship builder. Excellent analytical, organisational and planning skills together with significant advanced excel and project management IT skills are required. The job holder will be responsible for delivering a project, some projects or sub-sets of a project depending on size. The job holder will be based from our Bristol office with travel to the manufacturing facility in North Wales and to attend meetings with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that the quality of the work delivered to clients meets contractual specifications and the company’s internal quality standards. Preparing and defining the project scope of work, financial plan, its goals and deliverables. Assigning responsibilities. Identifying the resources’ requirement. Managing all aspects of the project business plan and budget. Leading the operational, financial and technological aspects of projects based on timelines and work plans. Coordinating directly and indirectly with project staff to ensure successful completion of the project – Directing, supervising, supporting and coordinating the project team members/staff. Tracking project deliveries using project management tools. Managing the design of the project documents to monitor project performance and data stored. Resolving, tracing and escalating critical issues to minimize project risk factors. Preparing the QA of the project. Communicating intensively with clients, sub-contractors and vendors to establish cordial/effective working relationships. Reporting on project progress and communicating relevant information to superiors and company management. Performing the Provisional acceptance and final acceptance procedures. Ensuring that the financial issues are finalised. Coordinating the lesson-learned process. Following up with clients to verify satisfaction (Customer Satisfaction Questionnaire). Ensure the Safety First, On Time, On Spec, On Budget and Customer satisfaction. To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the role.
