In this role, you will lead and manage strategic R&D and customer-funded projects, driving innovation and excellence. Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and manufacturing staff to deliver complex projects. Apply and enforce effective project management techniques and processes. Mentor and guide junior team members, setting a standard of excellence. Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Schedule and manage projects using Microsoft Project and MS Project Server. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues before escalation. Collaborate with Finance to monitor budgets and prepare project status dashboards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes. Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in managing projects from bid to production, with a focus on production within a manufacturing/engineering environment. Demonstrable ability to energise teams to meet critical deadlines. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage customer expectations effectively. Solid understanding of risk management in project contexts. Proficiency in MS Project, MS Project Server, or similar enterprise project management tools. Project management qualifications are desirable. Working knowledge of SAP is advantageous. Eligibility for Security Clearance and UK Nationality are required due to the nature of the projects.
