We're searching for an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Waste Water to lead early AMP8 projects. These initiatives focus on Total Phosphorus reduction in alignment with new permit requirements from South West Water (SWW). The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with SWW's Project Manager, appointed designer, supply chain, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Take charge of managing and delivering single complex projects or project packages under the South West Water Framework. Oversee health and safety, design, customer relations, quality, environmental, programme, and cost/value management during both pre-production and production phases. Monitor progress of offsite and onsite operations, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget. Foster a positive team culture and environment to enhance overall wellbeing and performance. Drive transformative change by implementing production line thinking and promoting an "offsite first" philosophy. Key Requirements: Strong leadership skills coupled with proficiency in people management, analysis, problem-solving, and organization. Previous experience in both pre-production and production project management within a major projects environment. Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, with previous contract administration experience being advantageous. Excellent communication and customer service skills, along with a solid understanding of MMC, Lean Construction, Agile Programme Management, and Production Thinking. Programme-focused with the ability to plan and organize resources effectively for on-time and complete delivery. Commercially astute, capable of producing accurate time and cost forecasts and reports. Desirable qualifications include HNC in manufacturing/construction, professional certification, SMSTS safety qualification, relevant CSCS card, BIM/digital experience, and IT literacy.
