Project Manager (Fire & Security) Package Overview: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (Negotiable, Depending on Experience) Company Car/Car Allowance Full-time, Permanent Office based role with occasional site visits - Newmarket area Company Overview - Project Manager (Fire & Security) Our client, a leader in their sector, are currently looking for a Fire & Security Project Manager to join their highly valued team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting time for the company, and the right candidate for the role will need to be enthusiastic, forward-thinking, and personable with the drive to hit the floor running. This company are key players within their industry and have worked hard to build a strong reputable brand that is continuing to go from strength to strength. Project Manager (Fire & Security) Role and Responsibilities: Responsible for the delivery of projects from receipt of order through to handover. Liaise with colleagues and clients on distribution/material scheduling, phasing, and programming requirements. Ensure all major suppliers and manufacturers comply with the proposal, instruct order placement and check acknowledgements are within set budgets reporting any losses or gains. Manage labour, subcontractors, and operational service delivery, ensuring compliance with specification and contract documentation. Attend contract site meetings and prepare required client reports. Organise site establishments, storage offices, plant, equipment, and consumables required to complete works, all within budget. Assist in the preparation and issue of Financial Progress Reports (FPR) by providing a written report on material variances and final cost forecasts for both labour and materials. Ensure that health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to. Organise the testing and commissioning of installations and complete the commissioning manual before handover. Undertake the assessment of specialist works to be subcontracted, conduct interviews and assist in placing any subcontract orders within set budget limits. Assist in the managing of subcontractor accounts. Project Manager (Security Systems) Skills and Experience: Previous experience as a Fire & Security Project Manager. Technical knowledge of a variety of fire and security systems. In-depth knowledge of current and appropriate fire and life safety regulations. Demonstrate a commercial awareness within the Fire & Security industry.
