The Project Manager (Global Market Access) will be responsible for handling international certification/Type Approval projects, as well as project management of internal testing for a range of industrial and electronic products. Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to successfully identify, plan, and deliver on product approvals services globally. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Working with customers to understand their global market access needs; identifying the requirements and any other factors that would affect delivery; before generating and executing on product specific project plans. Effectively communicating between internal and external contacts and customers, ensuring that the project is planned and delivered successfully. Acting as principal intermediary between the client and the operating areas from the beginning to the end of both single discipline and one-stop projects. Attending customer and project meetings and providing regular project updates, ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Providing technical support in relation to issues that may prevent project completion; or supporting the business to ensure the customers understanding of our GMA service. Managing applications to regulatory authorities and third parties. Building and maintaining supplier relationships and contracts. Qualifications:
Experience of compliance management within an engineering sector (i.e. Wireless, EMC, Safety, Environmental etc). Knowledge of national and international approval procedures and regulations. Experience in project management/handling technical projects. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative. Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Fluent in English and (desirably) an additional Language (Spanish/French). Willingness to learn and study new technology types and certification areas. Strong ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers. Native or native-like proficiency in both spoken and written Arabic or French. Additional Information
