We help clients to deliver a diverse range of interconnector, windfarm, and renewables schemes, including nuclear and solar power, offshore and onshore wind power generation and transmission, high voltage (HV), extra high voltage (EHV) and distribution projects. This role will oversee our design and engineering services projects in the Power sector, being responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery within the designated scope. Close collaboration with inter-discipline teams, including designers, engineers, clients, and stakeholders is required, to ensure project objectives are met on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Previous experience of the Power sector is highly desired, however is not a pre-requisite for this role.

Key Objectives Take control of the project development and manage the execution from Contract Award through to handover and project close out. Ensuring project objectives are met within budget and to quality standards. Ensure scope and deliverables are clearly defined and delivered in accordance with the project requirements and contract. Ensure an integrated design programme is completed and secure all-party ownership. Manage the interfaces and relationships between the client, project stakeholders and project teams. Establish good communication and collaboration between relevant parties, and thereby an effective flow of design and production information. Deliver fully co-ordinated design (functional, commercial and programme) into enquiries, studies, and projects. De-risk design problems by finding solutions before they materialise. Define the project organisation and assemble the project team from internal and external resources to successfully deliver the project objectives. Requirements Demonstrable experience in design specialising in a given discipline or relevant project experience. Recognised qualification/chartered status in either Design management or Construction management equivalent. Strong capability in application of project management practices, methodologies, and tools. Track record of successfully managing large project teams. Commercial and practical understanding of project management involving multi-disciplinary organisations across multi regions and complex contractual obligations. Why join this team?
