We are working with a business that is heavily involved within the student accommodation arena, and due to expansion, several new sites are coming onboard. We urgently need to appoint a Project Manager to be involved with the running of this.
As the Project Manager, you will be involved with all areas - this will include refurbishment or construction projects.
Excellent project management skills are essential, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with different trade teams.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
The successful candidate must be a forward-thinking leader with attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve.
A valid driving license and willingness to be on-site with the project from an early start to a late finish from time to time are required.
You must be able to log the process, change orders, and communicate collectively with contractors and suppliers.
You must possess an SMSTS card.
This opportunity is initially for 7 months, based in Liverpool. Thereafter, other projects are forthcoming, and you will be offered these. This position is contract-based; however, upon successful handover, there is an opportunity for this role to be made permanent should the successful candidate prefer.
Our client is happy to work self-employed on a CIS scenario, or through individual invoicing as a limited company, PAYE system, or possible umbrella scheme. We can accommodate whatever is best for the person.
