Project Manager focuses on as a leader you will be building and maintaining motivated teams, making sure there is an iterative plan for them to work towards.

What the role involves

  • As a leader you will be building and maintaining motivated teams, making sure there is an iterative plan for them to work towards.
  • Support the Digital Programme Manager in planning, coordinating, and tracking the progress of projects.
  • Develop continuous improvement project schemes, inclusive of EFQM/Lean project management.
  • Lead a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Be able to develop complex plans managing multiple suppliers and dependencies.

Skills and requirements

  • To have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Project Management role.
  • Have business development and negotiation experience.
  • Experience in budget management and controls.
  • Prince2 or equivalent (desirable but not essential).

Confirmed role details

  • This is a 12 month fixed term contract commencing from October 2024.
  • Generous pension scheme.

  • Need to be proactive with risk and issue management to minimise delays to project timescales.

Additional role context

  • Projects will need to be delivered ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
  • Work in our York or Kings Cross office a minimum of 2 days a week.
