Project Managers

to join our London office and work closely with our internal specialist departments. With three roles in total, we are looking to bring in Project Managers for our Portland Design, Architecture and Corporate Interiors team. This job description will describe the initial key aspects of working as a Project Manager within the practice. The perfect candidate will bring sound commercial judgement, design planning, resourcing, contractual knowledge and interpersonal skills. You will join a team of two Project Managers and a wider operations group to support you. Significant experience of working within a similar role and organisation is a must, along with a degree or professional accreditation in a related discipline such as project management/design management, or architecture, to ensure you will be able to perform from the outset. While a minimum of four years of experience is required, we do welcome candidates with more experience to apply. Essential requirements for the positions include, but aren’t limited to: Lead efforts in developing and validating project scopes, schedules, services, appointment terms and fees. Contribute to management of commercial aspects of multiple design projects to ensure efficient execution within scope and budget. Resolve resourcing and commercial issues and help ensure timely delivery of milestones. Manage change through the project lifecycle. Minimum of a Degree Qualification in Project Management, Design Management, Architecture, Design or related discipline is required. Relevant experience in a quality organization and similar industry experience of at least four years. It is common for Perkins&Will to have a 2-stage interview process; the first stage being an in-person interview at our London office, with the second being either an in-person or online interview with the wider senior team.
