CPS Group are looking for a Project Manager to join a leading provider of innovative technology solutions, focused on delivering high-impact software to clients across diverse industries, including local government, with a strong reputation for excellence and a rapidly expanding global presence.

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with local government requirements. This includes developing detailed project plans that cover scope, objectives, resources, schedules, and budgets, while identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure smooth execution. You will work closely with local government stakeholders to define project objectives, manage progress, resolve escalations, and lead milestone reviews. Maintaining strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and third-party providers will also be crucial to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with local government requirements. Manage stakeholder relationships, providing updates and resolving issues proactively. Track performance, manage risks, and produce clear project reports.

What We're Looking For: Previous experience in Project Management, preferably with local authorities or local government. Strong background in Agile methodologies and stakeholder management. Demonstrable experience in risk management and resolution. A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent methodologies. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must have lived in the UK continuously for a minimum of 5 years to pass the required security vetting. Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor visa applications for this role.
