To work as a construction Project Manager in Grosvenor's London Estate Major Works Team. The Major Works team is responsible for managing various construction-based projects across the London Estate, focusing on the delivery of: The Major Works Team (MW)

– Responsible for the management of the delivery of Grosvenor’s planned preventative maintenance 10-year plan (External Decorations, Internal Common Parts and Lifts) and delivering ad-hoc small and medium development project work. The Energy Saving Fund Portfolio (ESF)

– Responsible for the delivery of small retro-fit projects across the estate, to improve building performance and help reduce Grosvenor’s carbon omissions. Key Responsibilities Preparation of detailed specifications for External Redecoration and Internal Common Parts projects, collating information from various record sources and surveys. Contract administration of Major Works, Sustainability, and small ad-hoc projects (Retail, Residential or Commercial) from budgeting through to final account. Manage the construction and professional teams. Carry out ad-hoc surveys to assist with 10 Year Plan schedules and assess specific fabric assets. Manage H&S works including asbestos removal and fire upgrades. Feed into Grosvenor's internal H&S compliance tool. Understand and apply relevant statutory requirements for construction and facilities management projects as required, including CDM, BSA, and FSER. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Assist in monitoring fabric, maintenance & electrical repairs and liaising with suppliers and tenants. Review existing ways of working and identify opportunities for contributing to sustainability, innovation, and Grosvenor Property, Place, and Partner of choice initiative. Other tasks will include specific research activities or initiatives as required to support the MW and ESF Portfolios. Key Requirements HND Building/Construction or degree in Building Surveying. Experience of managing planned maintenance and refurbishment projects. Knowledge of Building Regulations, Building Safety Act, and FSER and ability to apply. Understanding of Health and Safety risks, legislation, and good practice. Understanding and experience of the listed building consent process. Experience and knowledge of working on heritage properties. Experience and knowledge of the planning process. Proven track record of delivering a high-quality service of completing projects on time and budget. An appreciation of exceptional customer service and previous experience where this has been demonstrated. Skilful manager of stakeholder relationships, willing to apply challenge where appropriate. Passionate about working towards a more sustainable future, including excellent understanding of sustainability accreditation schemes for new development. Has a strong understanding of the role of climate risk in portfolio management and financial scenario modelling.
