One of the UK's leading main contractors, renowned for delivering prestigious high-rise residential, commercial, and student accommodation projects, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead a landmark £77m student accommodation scheme. With an impressive £660m annual turnover, this contractor offers a steady project pipeline and exciting growth opportunities.

The Project: Value: £77m Type: Design & Build, RC Frame Construction Scope: Several blocks, 5 storeys high, over 700 student units

This high-profile project will be delivered under the guidance of a seasoned Construction Director. As a key development for the business, the role demands a client-facing Project Manager capable of leading large-scale RC frame schemes to tight deadlines.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities: Drive daily site productivity to align with the program. Collaborate closely with the visiting Project Director. Oversee commercial and design teams for seamless project execution. Plan, track, and deliver against program schedules. Lead and manage a team of Site and Construction Managers. Facilitate progress meetings with all stakeholders. Uphold the highest health and safety standards. Resource and manage the team to meet project milestones. Build strong client relationships and manage expectations effectively.

What We're Looking For: Project Manager A qualification in construction, site management, or a relevant trade. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor. SMSTS, First Aid, and a valid CSCS Card (mandatory). Proven track record in delivering RC frame projects valued at £40m+. Strong commercial acumen with experience in cost control and construction planning. Ability to set and manage project milestones and deliverables. Extensive experience leading project teams and managing subcontractors. Comprehensive knowledge of health & safety regulations. Proficient in MS Office and construction planning software (MS Project/Powerproject).
