Project Manager

Manchester . This role presents an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic project manager who can work on a number of exciting projects in Manchester. There will be a focus on professional work on a wide variety of selected projects, sectors and value to allow for a diverse opportunity including: BTR and Residential new build projects Student Accommodation new build projects Re-cladding projects Draft and support to produce specifications and briefs for clients The role of a Project Manager includes the following responsibilities: Provide project management services through pre and post contract process. Support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances. Carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures. Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards. Develop relationships with clients, consultants and contractors to grow and develop. Manage the delivery of the re-cladding schemes and become a specialist / champion for Unite and future clients. Assist in the preparation of RFPs and Consultant appointments. Provide assistance on general project management tasks such as meeting minutes, dashboard reporting, and risk management. Support the delivery of planning applications with team management and document collation. Provide light Cost Management assistance with measures and comp checks to grow a rounded understanding of the works required. Manage onsite works for the delivery of schemes – as a Project Manager and Employers Agent. Key Attributes: The ability to – Build long-term relationships. Be a team player, outgoing, flexible, enthusiastic and ambitious. Qualifications & Skills: Degree qualified in Project Management or similar technical discipline. Working towards Chartered status (if possible). Excellent written and communication skills. Experience of working in construction industry. Analysis of the programme and construction technologies to analyse the best methods of construction. Knowledge of working in the construction industry and understanding different construction technologies to ensure best practice delivery. Client facing, ensuring a high standard of delivery. A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines. Cumming Management Group
