We're seeking dynamic and experienced Project Managers for Mobilization & Implementation of a new contract. This role involves coordinating all aspects of the project to ensure timely and efficient delivery of school lunch services across designated regions. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to meet project objectives, maintain high standards of service quality, and ensure compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and continuous improvement to support the overall goals of the MoE School Lunch Collective initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination: Assist with the development and implementation of a detailed project plan for the mobilisation of the MoE School Lunch Collective contract. Develop strategic business partnerships / client relationships and communicate strategy to ensure that improvements are implemented to maximise performance and customer satisfaction.

Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to support project activities. Ensure that Unit Operations Manager continually develops, implements and monitors activities that will enhance team development, employee engagement, and loyalty.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including the Ministry of Education, school representatives, and internal teams. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all project activities comply with contractual and regulatory requirements. Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of service delivery. Review portfolio performance, identify improvements and ensure contract compliance to exceed client expectations.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications:

Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, preferably within the food service or education sector.

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate project teams and experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

Proven ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions and strong decision-making skills based on data and analysis.

Experience working within contracted food services in New Zealand and familiarity with the Ministry of Education's requirements and standards.

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
