About our Client Our client is a global leader in smart infrastructure solutions. These projects are located across the North-East of the Netherlands.
What will you do? As a Project Manager Onsite, you will be responsible for the execution of three parallel data center projects located in the North-East of the Netherlands. You will work closely with the central Project Manager and lead the onsite team. You coordinate commissioning activities, oversee the implementation of fire installations, and maintain communication with stakeholders. With your technical expertise and organizational skills, you ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet the required standards.
Your responsibilities
Leading the onsite engineering and commissioning team.
Coordinating the installation and implementation of fire systems in line with technical specifications.
Acting as the key link between the onsite team and the central Project Manager.
Communicating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Identifying challenges and escalating them to the central Project Manager when necessary.
Ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards on location.
What we are looking for
A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
Experience with datacentre projects is a strong plus.
Extensive knowledge of fire systems (extinguishing gas systems and sprinkler) and relevant technical regulations.
Proven experience in managing engineering and commissioning teams.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Fluency in English, spoken and written.
