We design, build and service highly engineered products in fluid and motion control applications. We focus on five market sectors: Industrial Automation, Process Automation, Climate Control, Life Science and Fluid Control, and Transport. We are now recruiting for a Project Manager to assume responsibility for the planning element of the tender review process. You will be required to communicate with Subject Matter Expert's and evaluate the technical and commercial elements of a sales enquiry to ascertain the necessity for projects involvement. You will plan, monitor and control orders from the customer order receipt all the way to delivery. In addition to this as our Project Manager you will be responsible for: Evaluate technical and commercial aspects of sales enquiries and develop project plans. Produce proposals, including time estimates and risk management. Conduct margin analysis and track project profitability. Act as the main customer contact, providing updates and resolving issues. Oversee the pre-production process and ensure export compliance. Manage technical enquiries and support engineering teams. Lead customer visits, contract reviews, and quality assessments. Maintain key account relationships and project plans. Hold project meetings, track actions, and escalate issues as needed. Use ERP systems to monitor project status, costs, and production planning. Report on project progress, risks, and financial performance. What We Are Looking For HNC/Degree (or equivalent experience) in a related discipline. Project Management experience with process improvement and technical understanding. Ability to read engineering drawings and evaluate estimates, proposals, and bids. Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills. Experience building relationships to drive business growth. Commercial acumen with a focus on production proposals and client management. Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to progress. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Excellent time management and a continuous improvement mindset. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally if required. It would be great if you had: APM PMQ or equivalent. Knowledge of CAD / CAM Design and analysis, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures. Excellent technical expertise with experience of production processes and product quality requirements including welding, NDT and component manufacture.
