Project Manager – South Yorkshire – Systems Integration

South Yorkshire Permanent Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Project Manager to join an expanding system integrator that’s based in the South Yorkshire area. Key aspects of the Project Manager role include: A demonstrable track record of delivering industrial control focused projects. Previously worked at a technical level – ideally have some experience of delivering industrial control projects involving PLCs/SCADA/HMIs. Strong forecasting experience including finance/budgets and resource planning. Task delegation and follow-up/monitoring experience. The role will be almost exclusively office-based (95%). You may need to go to site for occasional inspection visits, but these will be infrequent and will be 1-2 days max. The successful Project Manager will work as part of a project team delivering control system projects to the client’s customer base. Fantastic opportunity to join a company that is enjoying sustained periods of growth with a range of customers working in a variety of industries. Experience of delivering projects with functional safety aspects in accordance with IEC 61508 / 61511 would be advantageous but not essential. The company is rapidly growing and has a stable, long-term order book. If you have previous experience of working in the Oil & Gas sector this would also be very beneficial but not essential.
