We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead and mentor our pre-construction and site teams, ensuring our projects run smoothly from inception to completion.

Roles & Responsibilities: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for: Managing, supervising, and mentoring the pre-construction and site teams to ensure efficient project delivery. Reviewing contractual agreements and collaborating with the Client, Contracts Manager, and Specialist/Suppliers to develop working methods, programme, and forecast costs, identifying any inaccuracies or inconsistencies. Developing programmes and forecast budgets, assessing actual programme and productivity achieved, and reviewing weekly. Taking action where appropriate and reporting any changes to the Contracts Manager and Commercial department. Being fully conversant with specialists' contract conditions and positively managing the programme to ensure that appropriate specialists provide the necessary resources and skills. Communicating with the site team and the commercial team regarding issues of non-conformances and contractual correspondence, ensuring comprehensive records of resources employed on additional works are maintained. Ensuring that inspection and test plans, risk assessments, and method statements for the control of the works are reviewed, approved, and adhered to. Supervising site teams and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to maintain project progress and compliance.

To be successful in this role, you will need: A degree-level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering with vocational training in Engineering. A solid understanding of Engineering Principles. Knowledge and understanding of construction contract law and forms of contract through experience and formal training. Extensive technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices. A relevant CSCS Card. Training in Health & Safety and Environmental management.

Desirable Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering. Membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE). Membership of the Association for Project Management (MAPM). Vocational training with successful experience in project management.
