Retail, Logistics, Distribution & Supply Chain My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join an existing team supporting the delivery of a digital transformation programme across a large scale and well-known UK based business. The client is seeking a proven Project Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of a number of key technology and operational workstreams across a large scale digital transformation programme. The right candidate will have a background in delivering similar customer-facing projects within the Retail, eCommerce or Logistics industry. Responsibilities: End to end accountability for project delivery and managing the project delivery process. Ensuring that selected suppliers deliver; acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, time and quality. Act as the bridge between Technology and the business, ensuring project delivery is aligned with defined requirements. Desired Skills: Demonstrable Technology Project Management experience with a strong technical awareness to manage projects with a high degree of technology content. Demonstrable experience of successfully leading Technology enabled change projects. A team player who embraces collaboration and supports other members of the team. Ability to work with a demanding internal client base and complex external supplier base. Strong stakeholder and 3rd party (supplier) management. An understanding and appreciation of how the architecture, policies and governance are applied to the delivery of a Technology project. Excellent people management skills, able to manage upwards and influence in a complex environment. Ability to work under pressure, manage challenging situations and time-critical activities.
