An excellent opportunity has arisen for Project Managers to join a leading marine interiors fitout company. Key skills required for this role: Project Management Experience Important: As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing marine and interior outfit projects, from project setup to on-site coordination and project close down. Suitable candidates must be happy to travel 25% of the year to various locations including overseas; therefore, you must hold a valid passport. Role Profile: You will be responsible for overseeing a variety of complex tasks related to the Project Management of marine and interior outfit projects. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that allocated tasks contribute to the successful delivery of projects. Role Responsibilities: Take ownership of allocated tasks or projects, following relevant sign off. Plan and work with stakeholders on resource and labor procurement, with approval from a Senior Project Manager. Maintain professional and consistent communication with clients. Participate in project meetings from start to finish. Monitor and control project performance according to specifications, budget, and timeline. Produce and provide regular project and financial reports, identifying any variances and suggesting improvements. Review labor and resource levels on-site, making recommendations for adjustments. Ensure adherence to Health and Safety standards on nominated sites. Take responsibility for the delivery of small projects, ensuring they meet client requirements. Complete any other tasks as directed by your line manager or designee. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: Strong planning, time management, and prioritization skills. Effective communication skills and the ability to influence others. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Results and detail-oriented approach. Demonstrable experience in using IT systems. Understanding of Health and Safety legislation. Minimum required education and experience: 3 years' experience in marine project management or marine refit, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience managing large teams of tradespersons is also required.
