Are you a passionate conservationist? Do you have a strong academic background in the biological sciences and/or extensive experience of community engagement in an environmental context? Do you want to deliver species restoration? Join the Restoring Pine Martens In Cumbria (RPMC) project team. We particularly welcome applications from conservation practitioners with experience of species translocation, including capture, processing and transportation, and post-release monitoring. Led by the University of Cumbria with Lifescape Project, Cumbria Wildlife Trust, Forestry England and the University of Leeds as partners, this project is part-funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. You will have responsibility for natural heritage restoration, community engagement, and delivery of a cultural programme that promotes nature, culture and heritage as key, interrelated and interdependent features of South Cumbria's landscape.
