The Land Use for Net Zero, Nature and People (LUNZ) Grasslands project is a new £4.5 million UKRI investment focused on improving net zero practices in livestock and grassland management. The project began on 1 August 2024 and will run for 36 months, working in collaboration with colleagues at University of Reading, Scotland Rural College, Queens University Belfast, UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology and Aberystwyth University. The project is led by Prof Angelina Sanderson Bellamy, from UWE Bristol who you will be working closely with and ensuring delivery of a professional service through project oversight and monitoring of key project targets. You will be required to compile project reports detailing assessment and analysis of financial spend, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and impact across project activities. You’re proactive and organised to provide high level support to facilitate the running of multiple activities simultaneously and will be required to interact with academics and project partners across several organisations. You’ll be a key contact for members of these different organisations. You can work inclusively across the team to represent the University with integrity and professionalism at all times. The role will be varied and you will need to be organised and to be able to multitask effectively. Where is this role based? This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed. This is a part-time fixed-term post until July 2027 working 22.5 hours per week. This post is not available on a job share basis.
