What You Will Do:
Lead the preparation and negotiation of robust technical and commercial proposals for automation systems within the UK Automotive Industry. Engage with customers and internal teams to develop solutions that meet specific project requirements. Conduct detailed cost estimates and create project execution timing plans. Collaborate with the engineering department for technical assistance and proposal development. Manage project timelines to ensure proposals are submitted by the bid due date. Review client purchase orders and manage internal job instructions to ensure project success.
What You Will Bring:
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline. Proven experience in automotive solutions for engine production lines. Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities with advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Exceptional attention to detail and excellent customer-facing skills. Resilient, flexible, and committed team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Location:
The role is based in East Grinstead, with frequent travel to customer sites and other company locations, including opportunities for international collaboration.
