The responsibilities of the Project Quality Engineer will be as follows: Overseeing Engineering projects and ensuring seamless integration of new products into Manufacturing enabling Quality to be built into the product from the outset and early into the Design and Development process. Actively participate in design reviews, DFMEA's, and lead internal FAI/PPAP/APQP during New Product Development and Variant Engineering. Play a key role in investigating Customer Complaints, delivering comprehensive feedback through 8D reports, and maintaining a strong customer focus. Drive timely and robust resolution of quality issues while performing RCA & CA/PA for both Customer returns and Internal non-conformities.

To fulfil these responsibilities, the Project Quality Engineer will have the following skills/experience: Degree-qualified engineer with a minimum of 3 years of quality experience, including at least 3 years in New Product Introduction (NPI) and familiarity with ISO9001:2015, AS9100, or similar standards. Experienced in Internal and External Auditing (Process, Product & System). Exposure to manufacturing/engineering, in Defence, Aerospace, Automotive, or a high-compliance sector, is advantageous. Experience with APQP, PPAP, and other Quality Tools, as well as knowledge of modern ERP/MRP systems. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, capable of engaging with all levels of the organization. Preparedness for travel, including overseas visits, and a clean driving license for essential supplier interactions. A team player with independent initiative, possessing strong analytical and commercial skills, contributing to process improvement initiatives.
