Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control Planning:
Develop and implement quality control plans; align standards with industry norms (ISO, ASTM); identify and mitigate risks. Inspection and Testing:
Conduct inspections; ensure adherence to specifications; coordinate and perform tests (welding, coating, structural integrity); verify material certification. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain inspection records; prepare quality reports; ensure accurate documentation. Continuous Improvement:
Promote efficiency and quality initiatives; recommend process improvements. Project Lifecycle Involvement:
Participate in planning meetings; monitor quality from design to construction. Technical Knowledge:
Understand steel fabrication, welding, and construction techniques; familiar with ISO 9001. Attention to Detail:
Identify and address quality issues. Problem-Solving Skills:
Identify root causes and propose solutions. Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication for reporting and collaboration.
