Project Quantity Surveyor focuses on assisting in the procurement and appointment of specialist subcontractors.
What the role involves
- Assisting in the procurement and appointment of specialist subcontractors.
- Managing subcontract valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Preparing and submit client valuations and commercial reports.
- Carry out cost value reconciliations and monthly reporting.
- Review design development information.
- Advise on cost implications.
Skills and requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar construction-related discipline.
- Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within construction or civil engineering.
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Experience with Bluebeam, CostX, or Cubit beneficial.
