Project Quantity Surveyor - Affordable Housing RC Frame Apartment Scheme, West London

Established for twenty years and being a 5 star rated affordable housing contractor, our client are seeking an experienced and highly motivated

Project Quantity Surveyor

to join the team on a brand new, 200-unit multi-block affordable housing RC Frame scheme in West London.

About the Role: As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for all aspects of cost management throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-construction to completion. Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing and managing detailed cost plans and budgets. Procurement of sub-contractors. Value engineering and cost control measures. Managing variations and claims. Producing monthly cost reports and forecasting. Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations. Collaborating with the project team, including site management and the client. Managing and mentoring junior members of the team (potential depending on experience).

About You:

Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor on similar sized projects (ideally RC frame residential developments), with a minimum of 5 years' experience. Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying. Excellent understanding of construction processes and procurement methods. Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience working on affordable housing projects for a main contractor is highly desirable. A proactive approach and a strong commitment to teamwork. Valid UK driving licence is advantageous.
