JOB DESCRIPTION

To take personal responsibility for the revenue and margin line and its growth as the Group continues to progress strategic growth. This high-profile role within the Hadley Group forms part of the key commercial team for the Hadley Building Products revenue strategy in the UK as the business drives for a significant growth through both market share gain and also full market increase. This role will focus on the growth of LGSF into the market by driving specification opportunities, specifically infill, continuous walling, stick build, high bay walls and drylining for the construction market in the region. To become a technical expert in Hadley SFS & Drylining products and systems, supporting the development of business in this key market sector. To generate profitable sales growth where possible exceeding agreed budget targets through the geographical area leveraging development of existing customer relationships and new opportunities. Engaging with Sub-contractors, Main Contractors, and Architects to advise and develop the best solution or solutions using Hadley SFS & Drylining products. THE ROLE

Develop a significant presence in the market working with customers and wider stakeholders to ensure that the Hadley Brand Equity is maximised and developed, thereby assisting with the recruitment of leads/opportunities. Ensure that the process of lead and opportunity management is aligned to the sales & specification process and recorded within the CRM. Provide technical support to achieve the sales revenue plan of growth and increased market share, revenue, profit, and ROI. Promote and share knowledge related to the specification market with both the wider team and the Group as a whole. Provide written and/or verbal internal technical support to external customers providing data, information, or redirecting them to the correct party and ensuring pertinent data is captured within the CRM platform. Assist in the development, creation, management, storage and control of project pack and specification templates and other critical project design data. Provide detailed input for area of responsibility to support the commercial input for the quarterly reviews and UK sales budgeting and reforecast process. Within the reporting structure ensure that pipeline management is a key focal point both for upward reporting and for communicating projects within the commercial team. Build and maintain industry and competitor knowledge. Hold responsibility for pricing policy and thereby drive the added value for the UK business line. Work to ensure that all price movements are managed effectively and that margin levels are fully understood across the range of product lines supplied by the UK business. Maintain an entrepreneurial approach to the market, assessing the opportunities for market step change such as acquisition behaviour, either in the current market space or to an immediate adjacency. Manage contract negotiations from initial enquiry through to quotation and final close of order. In doing so prepare competitive quotations based upon company pricing structures/policy ensuring appropriate margins are achieved. Provide full and comprehensive commercial reporting as required by senior management and the Main Board. Identify opportunities for and carry out product development within the market sector. Support Strategic Marketing in the execution of local market research, competitor, and customer surveys. Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development. Seek active membership and participation with relevant trade groups and associations. Support marketing of technical data (website content, brochures, seminars, trade shows etc…) Keep abreast of competitors' technical offerings, and benchmark best practice. Work with the Group procurement and Operations team to ensure that both supply chain and operations are aligned to the commercial goals for the relevant periods that are set eg budget year, 5 year plan etc, specific commercial activity. Work with Group Finance and Credit Control to ensure customer payments are received on agreed dates. Any other duties within the capability of the job holder. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Within the UK & International group sites as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education and Qualification(s) Either +5 years of work experience in Structural Steel Framing or an Engineering, Technical or Business Discipline Degree qualified. Experience Technical understanding of SFS and drylining systems of build products and system requirements. Relevant experience of specification management. Analytical skills and technical problem solving. Capable of understanding architectural drawings. Customer technical support. Demonstrated revenue growth managing a multimillion £ region. Commercial acumen with strong understanding of company finances and ability to use this information to drive decision making. CORE COMPETENCIES
