Job Description Are you ready to become an expert in our Marine Asset Integrity - Project Management team in Nootdorp, the Netherlands? As a Project Surveyor, you'll be at the heart of ensuring delivery excellence. Your primary role will revolve around providing crucial support for positioning and construction projects. You inform/advise stakeholders about project progress, (potential) issues, necessary changes and prepare project specific charting and reporting templates. You collaborate with field staff, project engineers and project managers to incorporate geodetic survey data into project planning, design and construction processes. Your responsibilities include overseeing technical preparations and managing project delivery, making you an essential contributor to our projects, spanning from the commercial phase right through to execution. You support Commercial Managers by providing technical input in response to client tenders and proposals and evaluate tender specifications for compliance in conjunction with other support staff. Your scope of influence is vast, allowing you to play a critical role in sharing invaluable lessons learned and fostering operational excellence by fostering connections among all project stakeholders. Your role You take ownership of survey and positioning-related aspects for multiple tenders and projects, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism; You assist with the development of project documentation, ensure data management standards are maintained, QC of field data & final client deliverables and make sure that they are in line with Fugro document standard; You are responsible for facilitating knowledge transfer and cross-training within the service line and among offshore personnel; You promptly address deviations from project design and work closely with the construction team to resolve issues; You attend vessel mobilisation, demobilisations, brief and debrief offshore teams and are responsible for necessary briefings, inter-departmental pre- and post-project meetings take place, as required. Your track record You have a MSc. or BSc. or higher level degree in geodesy, civil engineering, surveying or related subject, e.g. Aerospace, Geomatics or Hydrography; Preferably you have offshore experience in a surveyor, hydrographic, geophysical or positioning and construction support role; You have excellent communication and language skills in English (written and spoken); You have strong interpersonal skills, a hands-on approach and you are driven to achieve delivery excellence.
