Projects Solicitor – Student Accommodation

We are working with a reputable national firm, seeking to recruit a projects solicitor to join a niche but leading team as part of a wider commercial team at this practice. This opportunity is for a projects solicitor to work as part of a wider projects offering, but also to specifically focus in the market of student accommodation. You'll work on some major projects in a very dynamic market of the procurement of student accommodation, whilst having the opportunity to work as part of a broader projects team dealing with energy, waste, logistics, retail and much more. This position can be based in any major UK city - Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Cambridge, Oxford. This is a very interesting opportunity and perfect for someone with this specific experience in working on student accommodation procurement projects, but also equally, for someone who is a top-class projects lawyer and enjoys drafting commercial agreements with a highly sophisticated client base - both in the UK and internationally. You'll be involved in major high profile projects acting across a range of sectors for Government departments, contracting authorities and private sector clients dealing with a variety of complex contractual agreements linked to student accommodation, for a firm which is recognised as being leading in this area. You will be: Ideally over 5 years PQE, although applications will be considered from those with less Experienced in drafting complex contracts or leases, and/or working on project agreements in the PFI/PPP markets Experienced in dealing with public sector clients or education sector clients - although this is not a pre-requisite Very well organised, and a strong communicator - able to work across teams, departments and offices On offer is a chance to work for one of the firms which is recognised as being one of the best employers in the private practice market - having won various awards over the last 30 years.
