Plus, much more! “Find your role” As Property Commercial Analyst you will play a key role in managing the commercials of key Property and Construction workstreams across the Asda estate, with an estimated spend of £250m per annum. You will collaborate and build strong day to day relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders including Property, Finance, Construction Managers, Project Managers / PMO’s, QS, suppliers and consultants to ensure projects are delivered within agreed commercial frameworks. You will be part of a large cross functional team, so you will have a strong, collaborative work ethic and enjoy developing and building working relationships. This role provides many opportunities to further develop your behavioural capabilities, providing plenty of exposure within the business and with our key stakeholders. You Will: Work closely with the Commercial Manager lead, supporting on key Asda Property workstreams including New Space, Asset and Petrol Stations. Be a business partner working alongside Construction implementation teams to drive robust cost management, and procurement to ensure commercial alignment with suppliers, contractors and consultants to always ensure best value. Be integral in the construction implementation teams programme from start to finish ensuring robust business cases, and commercial governance, to create buy-in and engagement with key leadership including SD’s and VP's. Work closely with a team of external QS's to ensure consistent and value-added input into cost and change management from initial feasibility estimates through to final project close out, and cashflow management. You will support in preparing board and department sign off approval papers working cross functional across construction, design and finance teams. Coordinate and manage any communication related to cost, budget and invoicing between internal and external stakeholders for weekly and monthly reporting. “Let's find out about you.” You will have a Commercial, Quantity Surveying or Finance background from within practice, client side and / or a retail background is preferred. You must have demonstrable ability to manage and deliver against challenging cost targets and projects. You will be proactive with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will have proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels. Ability to manage significant change and challenges, finding creative ways to overcome barriers.
