TML are recruiting on behalf of a global property consultancy in their search for a commercial property manager up to Associate Director to be based out of their prestigious Central Birmingham offices. Our client seeks to hire the best commercial property managers that the market has to offer given their reputation and the prestigious clients they represent. Reporting directly to the Director of property management, you will have fantastic and unrivalled chances to progress your career with a company that rewards performance. Being placed with one specific high-end client within Central Birmingham, this is an opportunity to be involved in classic service charge but some L&T work, keeping the workload interesting and varied. You will be afforded leadership opportunities within a business that can drive you forward. Dependent on the level of the candidate, this role in particular has been earmarked for a fast route to directorship, so will suit a candidate that is ambitious. Our client operates a hybrid working policy and is incredibly flexible for their staff.

What will you be doing? Deal with occupier queries on rent, service charges, and other management matters. Tenant liaison and dealing with formal Landlord and Tenant matters such as rent reviews, lease renewals, and tenant applications. Client reporting - to produce monthly/quarterly reports and attend client meetings. Working with the in-house data teams to ensure lease data is up to date. Liaising with building managers and our FM team on day-to-day maintenance, repair, and operational issues on each of the properties. Work with the sustainability team to ensure ESG best practice is adopted across the instructions. Carry out regular property inspections. Setting up new properties/instructions.

What do you need to be successful? Commercial Property Management experience is essential in both occupier and investor. Ideally RICS qualified; however, this is not essential. Landlord and Tenant experience. Excellent communication and client interfacing skills. Happy to work in collaboration with team members. Experience within a professional services environment and working with blue-chip companies. Experience of property management software. Experienced in using Microsoft Office.
