Job Description

The client is a global investment fund manager across global macro asset classes. They have over 200 employees internationally and six in the property team. This role will be office-based, five days a week, in Mayfair. It would suit someone who wants to prioritise their career and reap the benefits of working in a dedicated, tight-knit team. It is a unique opportunity and a varied role overseeing a global private residential portfolio. Responsibilities: Oversee a global property portfolio, including reactive maintenance. Liaise with contractors, see jobs through to completion, and sign off invoices. Ensure properties are compliant with current health & safety requirements, with all records up to date. Manage a portfolio that is 70% UK-based and 30% overseas, split between private and lettings properties (global travel may be required but infrequently). Properties include listed super-prime postcodes in London, two large estates in the UK, and 10 homes globally. Additional Duties: Manage utility accounts and suppliers to ensure the portfolio benefits from the most competitive tariffs. Liaise with occupiers to address queries and concerns. Conduct regular property inspections and manage contractors to ensure work and repairs are completed. Compile and manage your own WIP while regularly communicating with property staff. The client is looking for profiles with experience in the private residential sector or those with a background in large consultancy firms. Candidates with complex facilities and maintenance management experience are ideal. While overseas experience is not necessary, it would be desirable, along with proficiency in additional languages. Key Notes: This is an oversight role, with a team of subcontractors to handle procurement and appointments. Stakeholder management is crucial, as you will be working closely with the property team and UHNWI. Please note, this is a five-day-a-week office-based role, apart from site inspections. The salary is based on the individual to ensure no levels or profiles are excluded. The role is for a fixed term contract with the possibility to go permanent.
