We are looking for a talented individual to join our highly regarded and forward-thinking Property Team within Legal and Democratic Services. The Property Team is currently supporting the Council with a range of exciting and high-profile projects as well as day-to-day estate management work. You will handle an interesting and varied workload and provide advice on a number of high-profile matters as a legal advisor to the Council. About You
You will: Be a qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with hands-on real estate experience with at least 3+ years’ PQE. Engage in a broad spectrum of work across a variety of sectors, including acquisitions and disposals alongside all aspects of asset management. Experience of local authority constitutional law would be desirable. Build and sustain excellent collaborative working relationships with client departments, colleagues, Members, partners, and other stakeholders. Enjoy working as part of a dynamic, commercial, and pragmatic team and have the ability to work flexibly across the team. Actively contribute towards the team’s precedents and internal know-how. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their role as a property lawyer in a diverse and sizeable multi-disciplinary Legal department in a public sector in-house environment.
