Requirements

Working to WB Power Services Ltd procedures and using our own bespoke systems in accordance with all quality accreditations ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001. Interpret client's enquiry documents, prepare conceptual designs and formal tender responses to tight, customer-specified deadlines. Review specifications and scopes of supply from clients' M&E tender requests. Write clarifications to specification as part of the tender returns. Undertake ongoing technical clarifications, requested by the client, throughout the life of the tenders, and support the Sales team through to successful order placement. Prepare and review accurate contract handover files for the Projects Team alongside the Project Sales Administrator. Support the Project Sales Team where necessary to assist with technical information with proposals, consultants reports, and engine selection. Review existing proposals and identify key selling points to the Sales Team. Attend formal bid clarification meetings virtually or at client's premises as required. Obtain subcontractor or supply chain partners' compliant quotations for bought-out items and review. Produce project estimates and bill of material schedules to allow for speedy return of proposals. Formulate accurate cost build-ups. Review technical and commercial content of proposals. Update database systems based on communications and feedback received. Liaise and negotiate with sub-suppliers, where required. Support the Purchasing and Projects Departments in identification and development of sub-suppliers. There may be the requirement to attend site meetings with clients alone when part of the sales team cannot attend. This would be to confirm scope of supply and best practices to produce cost-effective solutions for clients. Raise contract review on sales orders received. The Person

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Proposal Engineer role. Hold a full UK Driving license (desirable). Excellent communication and leadership skills. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. A genuine care for the needs of customers and team members. The capability to deal with a variety of works.
