Job Summary: The Proposal Specialist is responsible for developing smart and persuasive B2B proposals, collateral, Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions, security assessments, company documentation, drafting, and sales enablement materials for our sales team to deliver to existing and prospective customers. This fast-paced role involves writing and applying new or standardized content independently and collaborating with discipline leaders in the organization. The individual fulfilling this role will be a talented writer, team contributor, problem solver and high performing task master with the ability to thrive while handling multiple projects under established deadlines. Responsibilities: Understand business goals of the customer and/or buyer Effectively champion strategic imperatives to help guide marketing, sales enablement and proposal activity Lead RFx bid team projects as a project manager from receipt to submission, including answering RFx questionnaires and other submission requirements (e.g., security assessments, sales supporting collateral, vendor documentation, etc.) Work with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to develop new content to support the sales process and when responding to specific RFx and/or security assessment activities Coordinate with discipline leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver smart, savvy customer-facing materials, proposals and pitches with flawless execution Capture and re-purpose applicable content in the sales cycle for future sales engagements Maintain a customer service mentality when fulfilling deliverables and enabling sales with assets and training Implement sales enablement techniques to drive engagement around sales assets, playbooks, resources and sales materials Education: Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience and Training: Preferred one (1) to three (3) years of relevant industry experience Possess expertise in marketing, proposal writing, sales enablement and enterprise technology-based tools Able to translate and communicate complex ideas quickly and clearly to executives, sales representatives and key project stakeholders around the globe Problem-solve and move multiple, time-sensitive projects forward with high-level oversight and skilled precision Be motivated to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, entrepreneurial environment spanning multiple time zones Technical Knowledge: Strong writing and editing skills are preferred for crafting clear, persuasive, and error-free materials Ability to research and analyze customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscapes Proficient in Microsoft products (e.g., SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) Experience in Sales Enablement, RFx Software Management and Customer Relationship Management tools are preferred Basic skills in creating visual content for sales materials (e.g., customer-facing presentations, charts and graphs) are a plus General knowledge of IT security practices, considerations around data and data privacy, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) functions is a plus Benefits: Private Healthcare for you and your direct family Gym Membership Life Insurance Team Building Budget Office Drinks and Snacks Great Office Locations Please note that candidates must have the right to work in the UK now and in the future as Calero are unfortunately unable to sponsor visa applications or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
