Henry Martin are working with a well-established contractor who are seeking an experienced and motivated proposals manager to join their growing pre-construction team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to take ownership of the proposals process, delivering high-quality submissions that showcase the company's expertise and secure new business opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing the full lifecycle of proposals, from initial planning to final delivery. Coordinating internal and external stakeholders to gather the information needed to craft compelling submissions. Leading the development of tailored pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), tender proposals, and presentations. Reviewing and refining content to ensure it aligns with client requirements and reflects the company's strengths. Maintaining and enhancing a library of reusable templates and case studies. Organizing and running strategy sessions to identify unique selling points and key client messaging. Analysing feedback from past submissions to improve processes and content. Staying up to date with industry developments, competitor activity, and client expectations to ensure proposals remain competitive.

The ideal candidate will: Demonstrable experience in managing proposals, bids, or submissions, ideally within construction, engineering, or a related sector. Outstanding writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging, persuasive, and client-focused content. Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, with experience managing multiple deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with design tools like Adobe InDesign (preferred). A collaborative mindset and the ability to build relationships across teams and disciplines. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering work of the highest standard.
