GBP 45,000 - GBP 60,000 / year Description Good Energy is continuing its progression towards becoming an Energy Services provider supporting businesses and consumers on their journey to Net Zero through a 'whole home' and 'whole business' approach. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Proposition Development Manager to play a key role in shaping and delivering impactful energy solutions that drive real customer value and business growth. We're seeking a dynamic and customer-centric individual who will lead the development of new propositions from initial concept through to successful implementation and performance management. In this role, you'll manage cross-functional teams, collaborate with delivery partners, and ensure our propositions align with our strategic objectives. Your expertise in project management and proven track record in developing customer-driven solutions will help us achieve our vision of a Net Zero future. Key Responsibilities: Strategic alignment:

Ensure all proposition development is aligned with Good Energy's vision, strategic objectives, and market positioning. Market Insight:

Stay abreast of energy market trends, including Supply, Export, Flexibility, and Energy Services, and use this knowledge to inform proposition development. Lifecycle management:

Oversee propositions throughout the entire product development lifecycle. Go-to-market leadership:

Develop and manage the launch of propositions, working to ensure successful customer adoption and delivering expected customer outcomes. Stakeholder communication:

Provide clear and timely updates on proposition performance to key stakeholders. Clear requirement management:

Ensure that requirements are clearly defined and communicated to assigned owners. Risk & performance management:

Maintain a record of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, and ensure measurable success criteria are defined post-launch. Team leadership:

Lead and motivate project teams, fostering an environment of collaboration, engagement, and high performance. Continuous Improvement:

Use customer insights and data to iterate and improve propositions. Ways of Working: Customer-centric approach:

Lead customer workshops and conduct interviews to identify and address customer needs effectively. Cross-functional collaboration:

Work closely with teams to enhance customer personas based on ongoing research. Proposition Innovation:

Leverage proposition frameworks to identify opportunities and create multi-product solutions. Iterative testing:

Adopt a test-and-learn approach to minimise risk and maximize proposition success. Data-driven decision making:

Use both qualitative and quantitative insights to inform decisions. Agility & flexibility:

Be prepared to pivot or discontinue propositions if they do not meet success criteria. What you'll need to succeed: We're looking for a proactive and results-driven individual with a strong background in the UK energy and energy services market. You'll have the skills to manage complex projects, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and drive business cases with a commercial and strategic focus. Essentials: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a broad range of stakeholders. Proven experience in project management (Microsoft Project or equivalent). Strong organisational skills, able to set priorities and manage workload effectively. Experience managing and reporting on data sets to inform decision-making. Ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams. Experience in business case development with a focus on commercial and strategic objectives. Desirables: In-depth understanding and hands-on experience in the UK energy and/or energy services market. Knowledge of demand flexibility services and how they complement energy supply and services offerings.
