About the role You’ll be working in an Advised life insurance role, alongside a friendly and talented team, learning from highly experienced managers. Provided with warm leads, you’ll initially be selling products from a panel of leading insurers and the company’s own products. There will be fantastic scope for add-on and cross-selling opportunities. There is a strong culture of internal career progression. You’ll have a robust and exciting development plan and you’ll be fully supported during your initial - and further - training period(s). Previous experience in advised/non-advised life insurance sales would be highly desirable, or candidates with a demonstrated track record in sales within the general insurance sector, including experience with other product lines will be considered as you will receive comprehensive training and support from the company to excel as an Advised Protection Consultant. Key Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include: Engaging with customers, delivering high-quality advice whilst building a rapport and understand their needs and preferences. Providing tailored, trusted recommendations on products and services, ensuring your customers make informed decisions. Meeting and exceeding sales targets through proactive and professional client interactions. Complying with regulatory requirements and company policies. Staying abreast of the latest products and market trends. What the role requires Candidates should be ambitious, eager to learn and grow, and resilient with a positive and growth mindset. To succeed, you’ll need: A proven track record of (minimum) 2 years of life insurance sales (Advised or Non-Advised) experience, or have a proven sales experience across other product classes in the general insurance industry. It would be highly desirable if you have Advised Life Insurance experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a simple way that's easy to understand. To be passionate about delivering exceptional service (including after sale) and building trust with customers. The motivation to achieve goals, meet targets and rise to challenges. Skills in analysing customer data and identify trends. To be a natural negotiator, highly skilled at reaching accurate, informed decisions. Confidence to use your initiative, thriving on challenges, quick to adopt innovation and think on your feet. A great attention to detail and time management. Computer literacy. To be a strong team player and self-manager. Educated to GCSE level, you’ll either hold relevant certifications or be willing to undertake necessary training (eg financial services qualifications) if relevant. Ideally, you’ll be able to drive, hold a clean licence and have access to a car.
