Oversee builds in accordance with the high-level plan. Deliver vehicle specifications to support DVP activities. Monitor, track, and report spending throughout the builds. Communicate progress and status reports to the Principal/Senior Build Engineer. Resolve engineering issues and drive continuous improvement. Manage engineering change control, ensuring deviations are documented and agreed upon. Coordinate with the procurement team for timely delivery of parts. Report and resolve build issues promptly. Manage build documentation for customer handover, including vehicle data uploads. Lead the commissioning, dynamic sign-off, and handover of builds in line with the Build Process. Contribute to a safe working environment, adhering to SSoW and H&S policies. Support the engineering team in achieving its goals. Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, or Automotive Engineering (2:1 or above) with a strong grasp of engineering theory. Experience in an automotive test and development environment preferred. Familiarity with low volume, high-performance vehicle programs. Knowledge of hybrid/electric drive engineering.
