Empowering Learning requires a PRU Pastoral Support Assistant to work in the Northumberland area. The role is 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. You will work within the pastoral team to support students in crisis and help de-escalate situations.

Minimum Requirements:

Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher Be responsive, flexible, and sensitive to the differing needs of pupils, including those with SEND needs Support students with ASC and SEMH needs Experience with behaviours that challenge Must be proactive and have the ability to think on your feet Maintain a calm approach Ability to de-escalate situations as they arise; Team Teach trained would be an asset Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
