We are looking for experienced and ambitious
PSV Electrician
to join Arriva, based at our
Stevenage
depot. As a
PSV Electrician , your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency). As a team, we are dedicated to working towards delivering a safe, reliable, clean, and efficient service to meet the needs of our customers. Our Engineering Team is a core function of our business, and each engineer's contribution goes a long way in ensuring all our vehicles operate in safe and roadworthy condition. What Arriva can offer you as a PSV Electrician: £25 per hour Overtime at time plus ½ for all additional hours worked over the working week. Full-time, permanent contract. 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays. Fantastic career progression. Overalls & PPE provided The role of a PSV Electrician will involve: Servicing, maintenance, and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks Auto (PSV) electrics and electric fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards Flexible working patterns available – Please get in touch to discuss hours that suit your lifestyle Requirements of a PSV Electrician: Qualifications for HGV/PSV maintenance and repair - Minimum of NVQ level 2 or any equivalent qualification (will require confirmation) Electrically biased experience within HGV/PSV industry If you are not qualified, applications may be considered from candidates with experience in repair and maintenance of HGV/PSV A full UK driving licence (6 points or less) Ability to be passed fit for a pre-employment medical APPLY NOW to join the Arriva team to help deliver our vision of providing clean, sustainable, and reliable transport services to our customers for a greener future.
