PSV/HGV Technician needed

Our client, a commercial vehicles and bus maintenance facility based in Croydon , is seeking for a HGV/PSV Technician to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and versatile technician with a strong background in maintaining and servicing a fleet of both trucks and coaches andensuring that all vehicles are kept in optimal working condition.

Various shift patterns Location:
Croydon Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and servicing on HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicles) and PSV (Public Service Vehicles) fleet. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across a range of vehicles, including trucks and coaches. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Carry out MOT preparations, inspections, and repairs. Assist with breakdowns and emergency repairs as required. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Requirements: Proven experience as an HGV/PSV Technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of truck and coach systems and components. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible and able to work across a variety of vehicle types and issues. Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience. Ongoing training and development opportunities.
