This role is Hybrid / Homebased with some travel to Warrington HQ, PAM clinics, and client sites.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Ensure all of the team are reaching their daily billable hours, reviewing this on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Drive performance and productivity across the psychological services team to deliver the highest level of support to all our service users in a timely manner. Line management of your team including absence management, HPP monthly one-to-one line management, and annual reviews. Monitor the quality of therapists' work through PAM Listen feedback and complete monthly audits, providing qualitative in-the-moment coaching to maintain and enhance the quality of service to our clients. Duty manager responsibilities including oversight of risk and safeguarding concerns, liaising with the operations team to deliver a responsive service to the clients, and answering queries from therapists, clinical support, and clients. Data analysis and reporting of service delivery, in line with individual and departmental goals. Provide leadership, support, and guidance to the team of therapists that you will manage. Attendance at client meetings as required. Investigate complaints on behalf of the Head of Psychological Services. Identify knowledge gaps and improvement within the team to develop and deliver training while working with PAM Academy to meet our training needs. Encourage and develop best practices within your team. Involvement with recruitment and induction of new starters. Support and coach new starters during their probation period including reviewing their reports. Attend management briefings and meetings. Organize and facilitate monthly team meetings. Additional tasks as discussed and agreed with the Head of Psychological Services. Responsible for your own caseload proportionate to management time.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Postgraduate diploma in counselling, psychotherapy, CBT, or equivalent. Minimum of two years postgraduate experience working in counselling, psychotherapy, CBT, or equivalent. Member of BACP/BABCP/NCS either accredited or working towards. Clinical supervisor desirable. Experience of safeguarding and managing risk with client groups. Strong management and organizational skills. A clear and confident verbal and written communicator. IT literate with MS Windows, ability to quickly learn in-house systems, and a competent typist.
