Job Description:
Direct Medics are working in partnership with the HSCNI to find a recently qualified Band 7 level Psychologist to fulfill a long term vacancy with the Belfast Trust’s Maternity Psychology Service. The successful psychologist will provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to patients and families, while also offering advice and consultation on patients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and other non-professional carers. This role will be for 4 days per week with no weekend or evening requirement. Requirements:
Current HCPC registration as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Post-graduate doctorate in clinical or counselling psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996 or those in lateral transfer) as accredited by the BPS Specialised experience of exercising full clinical responsibility for clients’ psychological care and treatment, within the context of a multidisciplinary care plan Excellent understanding in the use of complex methods of psychological/therapeutic assessment, formulation, intervention and management which can be adapted to the perinatal context Benefits:
