Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC reg Psychologist to work for a CQC outstanding provider of Looked After Children services.
Role snapshot:
The candidate appointed will mostly be working from home whilst attending visits where necessary across North England on average twice per week. Visits to South and/or West Scotland sites will be required during periods of staff annual leave.
The post holder will deputize to the Head of Service (Psychologist) in supporting with supervising staff in house. The caseload focus will be reflective therapeutic practice surrounding children and young people in a residential setting through consultation, assessment, formulation, training and direct work. The team focus on trauma-informed care and work with service users who may stay for a few months to several years.

Hours:
full time, fully on site. Subject to applications part time may be considered.
Salary:
£48,000 - £60,000 FTE
Experience required:
Those applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist along with experience working with developmental trauma and experience of supervising staff.
