Are you dedicated, driven, and keen to expand your career within talking therapy? Do you hold professional accreditation with BACP/UKCP? We are looking for a Psychotherapist to join our friendly therapy team in Branas Isaf. The clinical team works within the wider integrated team of professionals at Branas Isaf, applying psychological knowledge and expertise to service users and professionals within the group (e.g. education and care staff). Primarily, the clinical team supports children and young males aged 10-18 who present with a number of complex interpersonal, emotional, and behavioural issues. A number of the young people within our care have experienced significant trauma. Job Role

Your role will be to provide high-quality specialist psychological therapy services to individuals, carers, families, and groups, within and across teams, in line with best, evidence-based practice. This includes supporting psychologically informed consultation to teams, training, and assisting with service development. You will conduct psychometric and risk assessments, develop formulations, and provide and evaluate individual and group-based interventions (including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy). You will also provide specialist psychological research expertise to the service. You will learn from some of the most dedicated and inspirational people in our profession, and like our young people, you will be learning all the time through our ongoing mentoring and support. Depending on your experience, you may be required to supervise other Practitioners, Clinical Psychology Trainees, Healthcare Students, and Assistants. Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, you will be excited by the Branas Isaf vision and values and will relish the opportunity to make a difference. You will need to be a clear communicator, well-organised, confident, and capable of managing a complex caseload in a demanding environment. Experience in supervising others and providing training to multi-disciplinary staff is required, and you must hold either HCPC, BABCP, BACP-Accred, or MBACP-Accred registration.
