An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Psychologist to work in an exceptional private mental health hospital in the Preston area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers. This special hospital is an independent mental health hospital, specialising in the management and treatment of acute mental ill health and eating disorders. To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Psychologist and be registered with the HCPC. As Registered Psychologist Your Key Responsibilities Include:

Working within the eating disorder and acute wards, this role will involve the development, delivery, and evaluation of psychological treatment using a person-centred approach to assist our patients in achieving their positive life goals and optimum level of functioning. Independently facilitate 1:1 sessions for all patients on a weekly basis. The role is varied, involving direct and indirect clinical work, MDT decision making, staff training, and supervision. Will be involved in the evaluation and development of key aspects of the service. Ideal Skills for the Psychologist:

Enhanced organisational skills and the ability to work independently and proactively. Experience of Eating Disorders is essential. Experience of group facilitation is also required. Excellent communication skills are required with the clinical team, patients, and wider community agencies. The successful Psychologist will receive an excellent salary of GBP 13,200 - GBP 16,133 per annum (FTE GBP 45,000 - GBP 55,000). This exciting position is a permanent part-time role working 11 hours a week.
